Charter of Rights

Bakerlaw has assisted a variety of non-profit organizations, including the Council of Canadians with Disabilities and the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR Can), to combat discrimination in cases at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. We also represent individuals harmed by discriminatory legislation and government action. Although Bakerlaw's focus is on equality and freedom from discrimination, we have also argued cases involving Freedom of Expression, Security of the Person and Democratic Rights.
